DO NOT use narration.

DO NOT mention Bolsheviks in a PG paragraph.

DO NOT be too ambitious.

DO NOT dump everything into one paragraph.

DO NOT use “could be” or “if would”.

DO NOT compare for the sake of comparing.

DO NOT mention “to a certain extent” in SBQs.

DO NOT mention “biased towards, against”.

DO NOT make the wrong inference.

DO answer the question.

DO read the question carefully.

DO be focus.

DO know how to explain quotes.

DO remember to quote.

DO know how to use CK.

DO prove that the source is reliable / unreliable.

DO evaluation.

DO introduce your different views.

DO understand the question.

DO know how to structure.

DO remember that history websites are mostly reliable as it is verified by historians.

DO remember the suggested structure; the test tomorrow will be something like that.

SUGGESTED STRUCTURE

1) View 1: agree

Infer from source A

Compare (similar) with source B

2) Evaluate reliability of sources A and B (provenance).

3) View 2: other reasons

Infer from source C

4) Evaluate reliability of source C.

To evaluate reliability: State author, audience, message, impact and purpose. Watch out for signs of exaggerated tone. Or use your CK, say what’s your CK then state what’s the source saying, then say if it matches or not.
